The bucket chain ship unloader is a continuous unloading machine that uses chain bucket to excavate material from the ship's cabin and discharge the material through the conveyor system to the wharf. The mainly composing parts include: chain bucket lifting mechanism, bucket elevator head rotation mechanism, receiving mechanism, boom rotating mechanism, boom pitching mechanism, walking mechanism and belt conveyor system. When unloading the ship, the chain bucket excavate the material from the cabin, lift and discharge them into receiving structure, then transport them on the belt conveyor, and finally enter the belt conveyor system through the central hopper and the discharging belt conveyor.
